The vacuum paddle dryer is new type high-efficiency horizontal vacuum drying equipment. It adopts jacketed structure, and the jacket can be heated by steam, hot water or conduction oil. The jacket transfers the heat to the inner wall of the shell via conduction or radiation. The dried materials are added into the dryer through an opening in the middle of the machine shell. Constant stirring of the revolving harrow causes the materials move back and forth. The surface contacting with the inner wall of the shell constantly updates, resulting in high drying rate and uniform finished products.
Features
The dried material is added from the middle of the shell. Under the stirring of the rotating rake teeth, the surface of the material is constantly updated when it contacts with the shell wall. The dried material is indirectly heated by steam, and the moisture of the material is gasified. The gasified moisture is pumped away by the vacuum pump in time. The machine can use the sandwich and rake teeth heating method at the same time, with larger heat transfer area and high thermal efficiency was obtained.
Due to the high operating vacuum, the water vapor pressure on the surface of the dried material is much higher than that in the evaporation space of the drying shell, which is conducive to the discharge of the internal and surface water of the dried material, and the movement of the water molecules of the dried material, so as to achieve the purpose of drying.

Working Principle
The dryer vacuum degree can reach above -0.092Mpa, the solvent (including water)of a variety of materials can be quickly evaporated in the vacuum and low temperature conditions, to get the purpose of accelerating drying. There is a stirrer with paddle remove materials on hot surface and move in the container to form cycle flow. The evaporated moisture will be pumped by vacuum pump.
The dryer body was in cylinder shape. The configuration include material inlet, vacuum entrance and steam inlet and outlet (the upper part was steam inlet, the lower part was steam outlet when heating source was steam), in the lower part there are same size of the nozzle. The body is divided into three layers, the middle jacket heating medium can be steam, insulation layer for the ultra-fine glass wool, good insulation. The material was turning over and over through the rake teeth and being heated by the inner wall, the middle jacket transfer the heat and increase the drying speed in the vacuum status, avoid the raw material surface of being changed yellow phenomenon., reduce working time and save cost. Especially suitable for the heat-sensitive materials.
Scope of Application
Vacuum rake dryer device uses steam jacket to indirectly heat materials, and exhaust under high vacuum, so it is especially suitable for materials that are not resistant to high temperature, easy to be oxidized at high temperature, or materials that are easy to produce powder when drying (such as various fuels), as well as the drying process of steam or solvent must be recycled materials drying operation.In the vacuum rake dryer, the moisture content or solvent content of the dried material is up to 90%, while the lowest is only 15%.The dried material is slurry, paste, granular, powder, can also be fibrous.The moisture content of these materials after drying generally reaches 0.1% or even 0.05%.
