The vacuum paddle dryer is new type high-efficiency horizontal vacuum drying equipment. It adopts jacketed structure, and the jacket can be heated by steam, hot water or conduction oil. The jacket transfers the heat to the inner wall of the shell via conduction or radiation. The dried materials are added into the dryer through an opening in the middle of the machine shell. Constant stirring of the revolving harrow causes the materials move back and forth. The surface contacting with the inner wall of the shell constantly updates, resulting in high drying rate and uniform finished products.
Features:
(1) It has strong adaptability and wide application. As the harrow vacuum dryer uses jacket heating and high vacuum exhaust, it is suitable for almost all materials with different properties and states, especially for the drying of explosive, easily oxidized and paste materials.
(2) The product quality is good, because in the drying process, the rake teeth continuously rotate forward and backward, and the dried materials are evenly stirred, so as to avoid the overheating of materials, and the moisture is easy to escape, so that the shell can get low temperature products. Because of the fine particle size, the product can be packed without crushing.
(3) The steam consumption is small. Because the vacuum rake dryer often uses steam to pass into the jacket and uses latent heat to heat the material, the steam consumption per kilogram of finished product is small, generally 1.3-1.8 kg.
(4) According to the different characteristics and requirements of drying materials, the sealing system of the dryer can choose two kinds of packing seal and mechanical seal. The special design ensures the sealing performance and service life.
(5) Easy to operate, the vacuum rake dryer is easy to operate, with less fixed staff and low labor intensity. The environmental sanitation is improved due to the decrease of material loss.

Working Principle
The dried material is added from the middle of the shell. Under the stirring of the rotating rake teeth, the surface of the material is constantly updated when it contacts with the shell wall. The dried material is indirectly heated by steam, and the moisture of the material is gasified. The gasified moisture is pumped away by the vacuum pump in time. The machine can use the sandwich and rake teeth heating method at the same time, with larger heat transfer area and high thermal efficiency was obtained. Due to the high operating vacuum, the water vapor pressure on the surface of the dried material is much higher than that in the evaporation space of the drying shell, which is conducive to the discharge of the internal and surface water of the dried material, and the movement of the water molecules of the dried material, so as to achieve the purpose of drying.
